Petro Carbon and Chemicals (PCCL) is an ATHA Group (the Group) company engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) in the carbon industry. The company’s business model is fundamentally a B2B model wherein it majorly supplies its end product CPC, to the renowned, aluminum manufacturing government companies, graphite electrodes and titanium dioxide manufacturers as well as other users in the metallurgical, chemical industries and other steel manufacturing companies. In 2018, the company was honored with the prestigious Nalco Vikreta Utkarsh Puraskar, recognizing it as the top supplier among all the suppliers of POL (Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants) by the National Aluminum Company.

Thereafter, the company was converted from a private limited company to a public limited company pursuant to a special resolution passed in the extraordinary general meeting of its Shareholders held on January 09, 2024, and consequently, the name of the company was changed to Petro Carbon and Chemicals Limited, and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated February 23, 2024 was Issued by the RoC to the Company.

• 1975: PCCL’s plant was operational since this year, wherein the detailed engineering and layout of the plant was done by Engineers India Limited. 
• 2007: The company incorporated with the name of Petro Carbon and Chemicals Private Limited.
