NBCC (India) is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). Established in 1960, NBCC provides value-added services in Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Real Estate Development. The company also has its footprint and operations in international markets. With a highly skilled workforce and state-of-the-art systems, NBCC has delivered key Government infrastructure projects, including the redevelopment of Pragati Maidan, international border infrastructure and fencing, public hospitals, Institutional Buildings, Government offices and social housing initiatives. 

The company’s role often includes end-to-end execution, from planning and design to procurement, construction and supervision. NBCC recognised by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) with an ‘Excellent’ rating under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) framework for FY 2023–24, securing 2nd rank among all CPSEs with an outstanding score of 98.50 and was ranked 1st in the Consultancy and Construction sector. With huge Market Capitalisation, NBCC is listed with both the Indian Stock Exchanges namely, National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

NBCC is engaged in the engineering, construction and maintenance of government buildings and other public infrastructure. 

The company’s areas of operation encompass three Primary Segments namely:

• Project Management Consultancy (PMC): Institutional, Housing & Industrial Sectors; Redevelopment Work of Govt. Colonies & Vacant Land Parcel; Roads, Hospitals, Medical Colleges, Offices, Airports, Bridges; and Overseas Work.
• Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC): Civil & Structural works for power sector; and Chimneys & Cooling Towers.
• Real Estate Development: Commercial / Corporate office buildings; and Township & Residential Apartment.
