The company was incorporated as Yug Adhesive Private Limited under the provision of the Companies Act, 1956 vide certificate of incorporation dated June 23, 2003 issued by the Asstt. Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Later on, the name of company was changed to Yug Décor Private Limited and fresh certificate of incorporation dated December 7, 2004 was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat. Consequent upon the conversion of its Company into public limited company, the name of the company was changed to Yug Decor Limited and fresh certificate of incorporation dated September 14, 2016 was issued by the Deputy ROC, Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad Gujarat.

The company was incorporated in the year 2003, initially for a period of 3 years; the company was engaged in mere trading of Laminates and plywood. In the year 2006, the company had bought manufacturing Unit (Unit I) of Water Based Adhesive and also commenced the activity of and Rubber Solution/Adhesive i.e. PVA Based Adhesive, PVA Based Binder, Resin Solution and Rubber Adhesives for wood and footwear industry at Santej.

It has also positioned its brand name in the domain of Paints and Surface Coatings Distempers, Cement Primers, Emulsions (Interior Paints & Exterior Paints), Wood Finishes for Melamyne in Glossy & Matt Finish and PU Coating in Glossy & Matt Finish, Red-Oxide, Lacquer and Wood Primer under the brand name of YUG-COAT.
