Tulive Developers was initially incorporated in 1962 under the name Kerry Jost Tools Ltd. and changed to its name to Kerry Jost Engineering with the effect from January,1 1988. It manufactures machine tools of all varieties & more particularly several types of drilling machines.  The company entered into technical collaboration agreement with M/s. Dorst  Maschisen and Analagembau West Germany for the manufacture of Spray Driers & body preparation equipment.

KEL was set up to manufacture all varieties of machine tools, drilling machines, Metal cutting tools etc.

KEL was having a licensed Capacity of 1200 machines per annum. KEL's manufacturing operations have been suspended since 31/12/1999 due to lack of orders and nonavailability of working capital. KEL's net worth was eroded in the year ended March 2000. KEL has however not been referred to the BIFR since it has obtained a legal opinion to the effect that Section 15 of the Sick Industrial Company(Special Provisions Act, 1985) SICA Act is not applicable to KEL.

 In 2008 Company name has been changed from Kerry Jost Engg Ltd to Tulive  Developers Ltd.
