Tamilnadu Steel Tubes, a registered partnership firm, obtained a certificate of incorporation on July 13, 1979. All assets movable and immovable and rights, quotas, licenses, debts and all liabilities of parties in the said partnership became vested in Tamilnadu Steel Tubes Private Limited, as on the date of incorporation of aforesaid Private Company. The company has been promoted by Shri Indersain Goyal having over 36 years of experience as an Industrialist.

The company became deemed Public Limited Company under provision of section 43A of Companies Act 1956 with effect from April 1, 1982. The company was converted into a Public Limited Company on October 15, 1986.

Business area of the company

The company is engaged in manufacturing of GI Tubes, Pipes, Hardware Fittings, in India. The company currently manufactures ERW Steel Tubes/Pipes (both Black & Galvanished) and  ERW Precision tubes which are extensively used in water supply both for domestic and municipal usage; tubular structures, agriculture, automobile and transport industry.
