Samtex Fashions was incorporated on April 26, 1993. The registered office of the company is at Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Samtex is a 100% export-oriented unit engaged in the business of readymade Garments. It was set up in collaboration with Samsung of South Korea.

The company manufactures and sells trousers and jackets. The manufacturing unit is located at the Noida Export Processing Zone in Uttar Pradesh with installed capacities of 828,000 ladies trousers, 759,000 men`s trousers, 86,250 ladies jackets and 69,000 men`s jackets as on March 31, 2007. The Rs 173.7 million expansion program at the Noida unit is in its advanced stage of completion.

The entire production of the company is exported to the overseas markets. With a well developed distribution network in India, it has an office in New York to facilitate trading operations in the US markets. SSA International is a subsidiary company.
