Raja Bahadur International was incorporated in 1925. It was earlier known as Raja Bahadur Motilal Poona Mills, it got its present name with effect from November 28, 2005.

One of the real estate projects completed by the company is Raja Shree Business Park at Pune in Maharashtra. In the financial year 2007, the company finalized building plans for developing an information technology park at Raja Bahadur City Center in Pune. Windmills have been set up in Tamil Nadu, which generates power for sale.
