Prima Agro, a Cochin-based company got incorporated in the year 1993. This company belongs to the Prima Group of companies. Earlier, the name of the company was ‘Prima Agro Products Limited’   which got changed to Prima Agro Ltd.

Prima Agro products entered the capital market in August 1993 with a public issue of Rs 360 lakh. The company has identified Jung Won Corporation, Seoul, South Korea as a collaborator for its expansion project. The company has launched its Rich Foods brand of food products in the Kerala market. It has already launched cattle feed products in different varieties under the brand name Prima Feeds.

The Prima Agro scrip has been suspended from the BSE on account of non-compliance with listing agreement clauses.
