Sea Gold Aqua Farms was incorporated on October 5, 1993 and went public on March 9, 1995. It was set up as s shrimp farm at Korlam Village in Andhra Pradesh in technical collaboration for a hatchery with Samurai Techno Trading of the Kings Group, and a 100% buy-back arrangement with King Fisheries, one of the co-promoters. 

The company has been suspended from the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) for over three years on account of noncompliance with listing agreement clauses.

The company is engaged in the activity to promote, establish, improve, develop, administer, own and run aquacultural ponds for culturing all types of shell fish, fin fish, sea water foods and other crustaceans.

Sea Gold Aqua Farms also manufactures, aid, assist, promote and develop hatcheries required for shell fish, fin fish, seas water foods and other crustaceans.
