Pilani Investment and Industries Corporation is an Investment Company registered with the Reserve Bank of India as a Non-Banking Financial Company - Core Investment Company (NBFC-CIC) without accepting public deposits. The company was incorporated at Jaipur, Rajputana (now Rajasthan) on August 09, 1948 under the Jaipur Companies Act, 1942 and commenced its business on August 12, 1948. The company's registered office was shifted from Jaipur to Gwalior in the year 1982 and the same was shifted to Kolkata with effect from 2002. The equity shares of the Company are listed on National Stock Exchange of India and BSE.
