Oriental Veneer Products was incorporated in 1991, it began production of veneers in January. In the year 1996 the company tapped the capital market with an Rs.2.75 crore issue to part-finance the cost of production of compreg board. 

The company is located in the Thane district of Maharashtra, the manufacturing unit developed the capacity to manufacture wood and decorate laminates, compreg boards and veneers.
