NCC Blue Water Products was incorporated as a public limited company on August 18, 1992 under the Companies Act, 1956 and had obtained certificate for commencement of business on August 27, 1992. The company is promoted by Nagarjuna Constructions Company Ltd. (NCCL) and A V S Raju & associates.

NCCL was established in 1978 as a partnership concern in the name and style of Nagarjuna Construction Corporation. The company is part of the Hyderabad-based NCC group headed by A V S Raju, which also includes NCC Power Corporation, NCC Finance with NCC Softech as its software division, and an LPG cylinder manufacturing company. The registered office is located at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

NCC Blue Water is currently setting up an integrated semi-intensive shrimp culture project. The company is setting up this project at Chandananda village, Nakkapally Mandal, Vishakapatnam district to produce black tiger prawns for export markets.

NCC Blue Water Products Ltd processes and sells seafood .The processing plant was opened in 1994 and was managed by Sridhar Jaganathan until 1998. The company exported shrimps mainly to the Japanese market. The plant was later on sold to a new management when NCC Blue Water pulled out of the aquaculture business.
