It is a public limited company registered with Mumbai &  Chennai Stock Exchanges, for manufacture and supply of industrial gases both in liquid and gaseous form to industries and hospitals. Started production in 1979 with a 60 Cu.M. / hour plant near Trichirapalli in Tamilnadu has now expanded its activities by initially a 75 TPD plant at Pondicherry during 1997. The company has got certified for ISO 9001:2000 and supplying its products to various industrial and hospital sectors.

National Oxygen (NOL) is a leading producer and supplier of Industrial gases both in liquid and gaseous forms with well established business relationship with their clients over the last three decades in this business. NOL currently has a capacity of 2500 Cu.M per hour of oxygen / nitrogen gases and 2,00,000 Cu.M per annum capacity of dissolved acetylene gas having manufacturing facilities at Pondicherry and Tamilnadu.

In addition to oxygen, NOL installed an additional facility for compressing waste nitrogen into commercial grade nitrogen and over the years upgraded all it's facilities. NOL can now supply oxygen and nitrogen in liquid and gaseous forms to industries and hospitals through it's own sales network.

NOL has installed a windmill with a capacity of 1.65 MW at Dhule, Maharastra during December 2005.

The clients of NOL consist mainly government workshops, public sector units, space and petrochemical units. Also serves to steel sector, pharmaceutical sector, refrigeration units, hospitals, ship making & repairing units other than fabrication sector.
