Nagreeka Capital & Infrastructure was incorporated on October 31, 1994. The company was earlier known as Nagreeka Software Technologies, it got its present name with effect from July 12, 2006. The company is part of the Nagreeka group, which has diversified business interests in exports, manufacturing of aluminum foil laminates and heat shrink products, besides investments and infrastructure.

The company handles a portfolio with a market value of around Rs 2,500 million. As a fund, it has 90% of its investment in the Sterlite group. The fund holds close to about 4.33 million shares in Sterlite Industries and about 342,000 shares in Sterlite Opticals.
