Midwest Gold was originally incorporated as a limited company under the name and style of Nova Granites (India) on November 20, 1990 in the State of Karnataka. The company was incorporated as 100% export oriented unit (EOU) with an object of processing of Granite Blocks including mining and processing of all other types of minerals. The company had commenced its commercial operations in the year 1990.

The company has been engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing granite slabs and tiles. Located in the Bangalore district of Karnataka, the manufacturing developed capacity to manufactures polished granite slabs and tiles, dimensional granite blocks and polished marble slabs and tiles.
