Unimode Overseas Limited was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on April 24, 1992 and obtained the certificate of commencement of business on April 28, 1992 and obtained the certificate of commencement of business on April 28, 1992 from the  registrar of the companies Delhi and Haryana, New Delhi.  The company has been promoted by Shri. L.N. Gupta, Shri Sandeep Gupta and Smt.  Anjali Gupta.

Sandeep Gupta, Managing Director of the company started the business of export of leather garments by setting up pre and post fabrication facilities at Tuglakabad, New Delhi. The company was allotted a plot of 1222 sq. mts. at Noida (U.P.), to set up its integrated 100% EOU project for the manufacture of leather garments.

The public issue of the company was heavily oversubscribe, however there was a fire at company's factory premises which gutted the whole of machinery and stocks of the company. The delay in receiving insurance claim and loss of profitability due to closure of business, spoiled all chances of reviving the business of the company.

The company revived its business activities through trading of fabrics. The company owns its own Brand name 'UNIMODE'. It is planned that the brand of the company be leveraged by marketing of Men's garments. The company is planning to tie up fresh funding for reviving its export markets by export of Leather Garments to its old customers in Europeon countries.

Its products include-Gents Jackets, Gents Belts, Gents Gloves, Gents Hats, Gents Vallets, Ladies Jacket, Ladies Purse, Ladies Caps Ladies Gloves etc.
