Lime Chemicals was incorporated as a private limited company on 17th October, 1970 and registered with the registrar of companies, Maharashtra, Bombay. The company was converted into public limited company on 10th July, 1986.

In the beginning the company was engaged in the production of precipitated calcium carbonate. The company went for expansion and also for manufacture of additional products in 1981-82 and in 1986-87.

The company’s plant is located at Roha, Dist. Raigadh, Maharashtra. The existing installed capacity of the plant is 18,000 MT per annum.

The company manufactures the product calcium carbonate on indigenously built technology that has varied applications in diverse industries like tooth paste, PVC, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, rubber formulations, paints, printing ink, cables. etc.
