The company was incorporated as public limited under the Companies Act, 1956 on April 20, 1982 in the state of West Bengal and obtained the Certificate of Commencement of business on May 10, 1982 in the name of ‘Surana Construction Limited’. Subsequently, the name of the company was changed to ‘Prudential Capital Markets Limited’ vide fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent upon changed of name dated November 21, 1990. Further, the name of the company was changed to ‘Spectrum Resources Limited’ and issued fresh certificate of Incorporation consequent upon changed of name dated January 8, 1991. The name of the company was finally changed to ‘Likhami Consulting Limited’ and the Registrar of Companies (MCA) at Kolkata issued the fresh certificate of incorporation on July 26, 2012. The Equity shares of the company are listed on The Calcutta Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited.
