KIC Metaliks founded in the year 1986 is a listed public limited company. During the years passed, KIC has established itself as a leading producer of pig iron, iron castings & slag cement in eastern India.

Having established its own manufacturing facilities at Durgapur, West Bengal, India, the company has a pig iron manufacturing plant of 120000 tones per annum, producing to its full capacity. To add value, the company has one cast iron foundry for castings exports and one slag cement plant . Apart from this the company has in-house container stuffing facilities which will speed-up the shipping process.

KIC has 150 technically skilled staff with high experience & knowledge in this field. The young & energetic Chairman & Managing Director of the Company R K Kajaria comes from a family who have been in the iron castings field for over 60 years and his self experience of over 25 years has made the company formidable & he is striving harder to achieve more heights.

KIC has acquired ISO 9001 : 2000 for quality management, applicable to Manufacture and supply of various types and grades of grey iron sanitary castings and industrial castings.

Products manufactured by the company include:

• Pig Iron-  KIC produces foundry grade / steel grade pig iron for the Iron Casting Industry viz -Automobile, Engineering, Machine tools, Water-Works, Industrial etc. The chemical composition can be altered to suit Individual requirements.
• Castings - KIC Specializes in manufacturing various grey iron sanitary casings and industrial castings. These castings meet the stringent quality specifications of the American & British Standards. Besides KIC’s in-house technical department is equipped to develop non-standard & non-conventional high quality products for catering to other international markets thereby increase the already wide range of items available.
• Cement - KIC is manufacturing and marketing Portland Slag Cement in the brand name “Kajaria Cement” Portland Slag Cement is manufactured at KIC’s Cement plant at Durgapur, West Bengal. Slag, which is the main raw material for this kind of cement is available in plenty, in-house, from KIC’s Pig Iron Plant which is at close proximity to the cement plant.
