International Conveyors (IC) was incorporated in 1973 by two Kolkata (INDIA) based entrepreneurs - R.K. Dabriwala and Anver Hussain. Commercial production in Aurangabad plant started in 1978-79.

International Conveyors Limited is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of solid woven fabric reinforced PVC impregnated and PVC covered fire retardant, anti static conveyor belting. It enjoys around 45% share of the Indian PVC mine conveyor belt market. Purchases in India are made through global and domestic tenders and ICL has demonstrated time and again its global competitiveness.

Besides producing for Indian market, ICL also produces and exports large volume of PVC Belts to USA, Canada, South Africa and Australia.

ICL has developed PVC conveyor belting, tailor made to meet USMSHA (Mine safety and Health Administration), CAN CSA (Canadian Standards Association), Test Safe Australia (Australian Standard) and SABS (South African Bureau of Standards) requirements, besides DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety), India.

ICL has one of the best conveyor belting test facilities. A fully equipped test laboratory conducts test of incoming raw material & all finished products, including tests for flame, static conductivity, drum-friction, limited oxygen index, etc. Besides, physical tests like tensile strength, elongation, tear, adhesion, fastener holding, through ability, finished belt and cover thickness etc., are also done as routine tests.
