Subuthi was incorporated in 1992 as a private limited company under the name Subuthi Finance Private Limited (SFL). Thereafter, pursuant to the provisions of Section 44 of the Companies Act, SFL ceased to be a private limited company and accordingly a fresh certificate of incorporation was issued to SFL on March 29, 1994.
