The company was incorporated on March 13, 1987, as a private limited company under the name and style of Gravity Silk Mill. It was subsequently converted into a public limited company.

Gravity mainly manufactures fabrics made 100% cotton, newly home furnishing fabric polyester cotton (PC), polyester viscose (PV), 100% cotton, 100% polyester suiting fabrics as well as shirting fabrics and also manufactures industrial fabric as per the requirement of the customer.

Gravity has an newly installed capacity of 46 numbers sulzer 153' and 85' automatic dornier weaving machines with electronic jacquard, weaving capacity of 3,60,000 meter per month. The manufacturing units are located at union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The fabrics up to the width of 150' gray can be manufactured as per the requirement of the customers.
