The Company was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, on October 23, 1991 with the Registrar of Companies, Delhi & Haryana. Certificate of commencement of business was obtained on  May 25, 1993. It is wholly owned subsidiary of Usha (I) Ltd. The main object of the company was  to provide Housing buildings, Industrial and Commercial Complexes and to contribute to overall development of Urban Living.

Usha Housing Development Company Ltd is in the business of real estate development, construction and facility management services. Its registered office address is at B-704, Sterling Apartment, 9-University Road Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh -261001.

The company came up with a public issue in 1996 and its  Public Issue of Rs. 3.5 crores was subscribed 1.104 times and allotment of 35,00,400 equity shares of Rs. 10 each was made on 28th August same year.

The suspension in trading of Usha Housing Development Company's equity shares were revoked with effect from Monday, March 14, 2011. The trading in the securities of the company resumed in “T” group.
