The company was incorporated as “CWD Innovation Private Limited” on May 30, 2016 under the Companies Act, 2013 with the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. The status of the Company was changed to public limited and the name of the company was changed to CWD Innovation Limited
vide Special Resolution dated January 30, 2021.The fresh certificate of incorporation consequent to conversion was issued on February 18, 2021 by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. Further, the name of the company was changed to “CWD Limited” vide special resolution passed by the shareholders of the company in their meeting held on July 24, 2021 and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent to the change of name was granted to the company on August 11, 2021, by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai.

CWD stands for Connected Wireless Devices. The company is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based company that designs, develops, manufactures, and sells integrated solutions combining the power of software and electronics. All products that are designed and developed in the company are focused on wireless technologies either on short range radio technology like NFC, Bluetooth BLE, WiFi, Zigbee; mid range systems like LORA or long-range communication systems like 5G LTE, NB-IOT, LTE CAT M1 etc.

The company is registered as a start-up with DIPP, with a focus to provide innovative, cost-effective, and comprehensive solutions, products with strategic partnerships for best engineering and support and distribution of its products.

The company is a fully integrated end-to-end integrated solution provider and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with capabilities ranging from global sourcing, manufacturing, quality testing, packaging, and logistics.
