The Company was originally incorporated as Cospower Engineering Private Limited at Mumbai as Private Limited Company under the provisions of Companies Act, 1956 vide Certificate of Incorporation dated September 22, 2010, issued by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai and Maharashtra for the purpose of acquiring the Partnership business of M/s. Cospower Corporation, which was in existence since 2004. Subsequently, the Company was converted into Public Limited Company pursuant to a special resolution passed by members in Extra-Ordinary General Meeting of Company held on January 23, 2020 and the name of the company was changed to Cospower Engineering Limited vide a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated February 19, 2020, issued by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai and Maharashtra.

Business area of the Company:

The company is engaged in the manufacturing of electrical panels, equipment mounting structure, harmonic filters, and substation. It is also involved in offering turnkey services such as commissioning, installation, comprehensive maintenance, supply, and testing of electric products. The company manufactures and supplies the products on a contract basis as per customer requirements.

• 2010: Incorporation of the Company.
• 2010: Taken over the running business of M/s Cospower Corporation (Partnership concern of its Promoters) along with its assets & liabilities vide Agreement of Takeover dated December 01, 2010.
• 2017: Awarded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management system for design, manufacturing, supply, commissioning and consultancy for electrical and mechanical equipment.
• 2018: Awarded ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System.
• 2020: Awarded ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
• 2020: Conversion of Private Limited Company to Public Limited Company.
