Chordia Food Products ( CFPL ) had its humble beginnings in 1960.The Company started with manufacturing small quantities of pickles and spices at home. It went on to become a generic name for pickles in Maharashtra and neighboring states. Gradually, it became a leading manufacturer of Tomato ketchups under the brand names: “Pravin”, “Navin” and “Toofan”. Strict quality control procedures are implement at various stages of processing to ensure that the best quality products leave the factories.
One of its kinds in Maharashtra has been conceptualized by the Chordia Group and is set at Shirwal in Maharashtra, 55 kms from Pune, on the Bangalore Highway. Apart from Shirwal, they also have factory unit at Chennai & Dharvad at Karnataka. The Park is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and the most modern technology to cater to the food processing industry. Every need of the manufacture will now be taken care of under one roof.
The products have largely been accepted in the Domestic and International Market. With state of the art manufacturing units at 3 different states viz. Maharashtra, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu theyalso have a well oiled Sales & Distribution Network.
The ambitious new project Chordia Food Park saw the light of the day in the year 2002. Since then it has started many new units. It will soon be entering the Frozen Food Market with a big bang.
