Incorporated in 1985, Catvision is a widely held public limited company employing 110 persons. The company offers a range of products and services targeted at the cable and satellite television market in India. Primary customer segments are cable and satellite TV operators, premium hotels, residential complexes and shopping malls. In 2011 the company changed its name from Catvision Products Ltd. to Catvision Ltd.

Catvision markets a range of fiber and RF head-end and distribution products that meet international specifications and are brand leaders in the domestic market. These products are sold by Catvision to all segments of the market - multiple system operators (MSOs), independent cable operators and last mile operators.

The company has its head office at Noida, an industrial town in the suburbs of New Delhi, and manufacturing facilities at Dehra Dun in Uttarkhand state. Products and services related to cable and satellite television have been Catvision's core business since 1985 and it is today an industry leader. In 2006 the company added security & surveillance systems to its product portfolio.

Catvision's overseas principals include Alcad, Spain (satellite television products), KoolConnect, USA (interactive television systems), Dedicated Micros, UK (CCTV systems) and Philips, Singapore (“smart” televisions for hotels).

Catvision is a publicly traded company with its stock listed at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

• Security & Surveillance- Catvision has over 2 decades of experience in executing turnkey cable systems at hotels, corporate townships and luxury apartments. They have extended this expertise with IP/digital, HFC and Coax cable systems to now provide a range of security and surveillance solutions in association with a world leader - Dedicated Micros of U.K.
