Bengal & Assam Company was originally incorporated on January 30, 1947 under the Indian Companies Act, 1913 as Bengal & Assam Investors in the state of West Bengal. The name of the company was subsequently changed to Bengal & Assam Company with effect from June 2, 1982. The registered office of the company was shifted from the state of West Bengal to the NCT of Delhi in the year 2002.
