Amraworld Agrico was incorporated in the year 1991 and is engaged in trading activities. Earlier known as Gujarat Narmada Spinning, it got its present name on September 9, 2002.

The company has business activities in commodity trading and started trading castor seeds in 2006-07. Amradeep Industries is an associate company.

In 2003, the boards of directors of the company approved to sub-divide the existing 1,20,30,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each into shares of Re 1 each. And in the year 2007, Amraworld Agrico has informed that Ashok Shah and Pratik Shah have been appointed as additional directors of the company in the Extra-ordinary General Meeting of the company held on April 15, 2007.
