The name of the company was changed from Ramada Hotels (India) Limited to Advani Hotels & Resorts (India) Limited in 1999. The shares of the company are listed on Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange. 

The company is managed by the Founder and Chairman & Managing Director - Sunder G. Advani, the Chief Executive Officer & Whole-Time Director - Prahlad S. Advani and the Executive Director -  Haresh G. Advani; together with a distinguished Board of Independent Directors.

The company is primarily engaged in the Hotel Business through its “Caravela Beach Resort”, a 5-Star Deluxe Resort situated in South Goa.
