The company was originally incorporated as A-1 Acid Private Limited under the Companies Act, 1956 and a certificate of incorporation was issued by Assistant Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli on April 22, 2004. The company was subsequently converted into a public limited Company pursuant to special resolution passed at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting of company held on January 22, 2018 and the name of company was changed to A-1 Acid Limited. A fresh certificate of incorporation consequent upon conversion to public limited Company was issued by the Assistant, Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad, Gujarat dated January 29, 2018.
