About Company

Capital Infra Trust, established in September 2023, is an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) sponsored by Gawar Construction Limited. The trust operates under the framework of SEBI InvIT Regulations, focusing on infrastructure-related activities and investments. The sponsor, Gawar Construction Limited, specializes in constructing roads and highways across 19 Indian states for prominent government agencies, including the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), and the Central Public Works Department (CPWD). As of December 2024, the sponsor’s portfolio comprises 26 road projects under the hybrid annuity model (HAM) with NHAI. This includes 11 completed projects, five of which were acquired from Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Limited, and 15 projects currently under construction. On November 11, 2024, CRISIL Ratings Limited assigned the Trust a provisional credit rating of ‘CRISIL AAA/Stable’ for its non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and proposed long-term bank loan facility.
