Capital Infra Trust, established in September 2023, is an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) sponsored by Gawar Construction Limited. The trust operates under the framework of SEBI InvIT Regulations, focusing on infrastructure-related activities and investments. The sponsor, Gawar Construction Limited, specializes in constructing roads and highways across 19 Indian states for prominent government agencies, including the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), and the Central Public Works Department (CPWD).
